Description:
This is an ancillary study in the Aspirin/Folate Polyp Prevention Study, a trial of aspirin (and folate) as a chemopreventive agent against recurrence colorectal adenomas. The major goal of this ancillary study is to examine if plasma levels of inflammatory markers (TNF-a, IL-6, and CRP) are associated with the risk of colorectal adenoma and whether low-dose aspirin reduces the levels of these proinflammatory markers.
